It is my great pleasure to be a part of the IvLabs for the past one year. During this period, it has been a great experience seeing the students utilizing all the available resources and logistics to develop on real-time projects, most of which are standalone prototypes of different research objectives. The students themselves have been actively involved in suggesting novel ideas and techniques, thereby contributing a significant advancement to these projects. The focus of these projects are diverse, with potential linkages to the society at large. In particular, the project themes, focusing on process automation, can be of potential assistance to the aged and differently abled citizens as well as those in need. Moreover, the novel ideas on projects related to non conventional energy has a direct correlation with the energy, economics and environment. At the same time, the works on bio-medial applications also aid in achieving an affordable healthcare -K. Surender |
